Textures on Fusion 360
Update on the fusion model: the "K" from last week's blog looks too much like a "L", so the plan is altered and a new shape was produced and used in the following images.Material combination 1: mirror, carbon fibre, and rubber (weathered)
Similar to a mirror, I often reflect upon my actions and ideas to seek improvements, while staying flexible, like rubber, and open on all potential options.
Material combination 2: Oak, Cherry, and Acetal Resin (white)
I have a personal preference for timber as they possess an ambiance of tranquility and nature.
Material combination 3: Leather - Matte (red), Pine
The soft and tender leather and the hard, solid pine represent my resolve and determination under my easy-going look.
Textures on photoshop
The first pair of images involves slated stones and PVC roofing. I chose the stones because I like the variation in its repetition pattern, as well as the strength and sturdiness it represents.
The second pair of images involves concrete and vintage brown timber. The concrete is used to give out a sense of mass while the timber is used to alleviate the dull and heaviness in the structure.
The third pair of images consists of stone and wooden stripes. Similar to the previous image, the stone provides mass and solidity to the structure while the wooden stripes create an elegant array of patterns.
