Final Curated Blog

Week 6

Iteration 1: Wedge-shaped extension
This improvement allows large amount of light to enter the room. Interior spatial conservation through reduced and streamlined storage space and a mezzanine bed. The model is also designed to be able to split into 3 parts for further fine adjustments.

Week 7

Iteration 2: Upgrade from Iteration 1
The inclusion of slanted arrow-shaped roofing that permeates light with tiny skylights. The roof is modelled to be removable to allow better scope of its interior.

The layout of the Fusion 360 2.5 D physical model, after careful planning.

Week 8

The inclusion of concrete and timber planks textures on Iteration 2 and the placement in a virtual environment. ( Savannah)

The render of the Fusion 360 3D model of my stylised name with primarily Cherry tree textures.

Week 9

Iteration 4: Irregular beams model
This model experiments with different interaction with the light. The model also experimented with corflute as a material.

Iteration 5: House model based on Iteration 1
This model explores the style of a house possessing major characteristics from the first iteration. The model is built with paper, plastic (takeaway containers), and cardboard. Aside from the distinct wedge extension, the rest of the facade also has tilted shades that allow control over the luminosity of the interiors.
